http://www.lizlamoreux.com/yes-this/?mc_cid=ea34fdbdda&mc_eid=b1a9fe0ee6 Today's prompt was short and sweet and something that I have been trying to incorporate into my daily schedule for a little while now.

Yes, This with Liz Lamoreux Day 2

http://www.lizlamoreux.com/yes-this/?mc_cid=ea34fdbdda&mc_eid=b1a9fe0ee6 So I went a little overboard with the prompt for day 2 (it really hit home with me where I'm at right now).  I journaled about my new MAJOR health issues and how it affects my outlook on life right now.  Then I made pages about things I find beauty in and that make me happy :-)

Yes, This with Liz Lamoreux Day 1

Like most people today, I don't have much time.  Life is hectic and ANYTHING can happen at ANYTIME.  I love to paint and create things, I actually like housework, and I love spending time with my family. A while back, Liz Lamoreux had an Inner Excavate Along based on her book. http://www.amazon.com/Inner-Excavation-Exploring-Through-Photography/dp/1440303096 http://www.lizlamoreux.com/inner-excavate-along/  I was introduced to this through Effy Wild. www.effywild.com  and we all played along.  It was great fun and I learned a lot about myself. This week, Liz started another free 10 day adventure called Yes, This. http://www.lizlamoreux.com/yes-this/?mc_cid=ea34fdbdda&mc_eid=b1a9fe0ee6 In my very limited time with kids and art and cleaning and health issues and costume making https://www.etsy.com/shop/messyjessycreatesart , I have found a few minutes here and there to participate.  Here are the day 1 journal prompt pages..... quick and easy!

Art Therapy Journal SFTIO Kit "Thrive"

Image
Last year I subscribed to a kit club called Scrapbooking From the Inside Out ( http://www.scrapbookingfromtheinsideout.com ) and LOVED it!!! But I was trying to cut down on expenses to I had to stop my subscription for a bit.  However, a year later, I started back up. This scrapbooking/mixed media kit club is like no other.  It is actually therapeutic and has themes each month with writing/journaling prompts, music playlists, thematic quotes, a pinterest idea board, a private facebook community page and so much more! This month's theme is "THRIVE" and this so works for me right now.  I have been working making lists for things I need to work on personally in my art therapy journal.  I will be sharing my work for week 1 of this month's theme. I just took a composition notebook and glued a couple of pages together and gessoed the ones that I was going to art on and left the ones for writing alone. First, I took the writing prompts and just wrote on the paper.
