www.willowing.org Lifebook 2015 Week 46 with Violette Clark Childhood Memories

I am using a Moleskein journal to record notes from the book.  Here, the notes are written for the introduction and the first week. http://www.healingwiththearts.com/the-book/  I found that the introduction was so motivational and actually looked into classes to earn certification in art therapy LOL.  For the culminating art piece for week 1, I actually used the first page from September's Scrapbooking From the Inside Out Kit- Inner Child http://www.scrapbookingfromtheinsideout.com/ .  I thought it expressed EXACTLY what the prompt was about!  As for the Inner Critic, I have done so many of those art journal prompts that I did not feel the need to do another at this time.  

It has been so long since I've been able to do any Lifebook lessons. http://willowing.ning.com / It felt good to actually do art for ME :-)  This week's teacher was  www.kristinvanvalkenburgh.com  and we were encouraged to write a letter from our younger selves to the us of now.  Inside the door in this piece is a letter encouraging me to remember to be myself and embrace my uniqueness.  It was a fun page to create using many layers.

Chapter 2 still looks at photos to tell a story but we look in the past.  The writing focused on the senses.  I chose my favorite photo of myself as a child and wrote about what I imagine using all of my 5 senses plus the 6th sense of "knowing" to write my piece of poetry. I will try to post close up photos of the pic and the poem when my computer and internet decide to behave  :-)
