My New Studio Space

Image
The past 6 months have seen a new marriage, new family members, new house- saying good-bye to the old and welcoming the new.  FINALLY, I have my space to where I think I can create :-)   I am currently starting two new online classes: RAW   with  Galia Alena   Mixed Media Works on Paper with Donna Downey This blog post is an assignment to introduce myself and my sacred space.   I'm Jessica Ann Lane and I've chosen to show you my new studio space to represent my creative recovery because I just moved and it has taken a long time to get my new space to where I feel comfortable enough to start creating. It is filled with my precious supplies, photos of my family, paintings, and my sacred relics. #ThisIsMe

http://www.donnadowney.com/ In the Mixed Media world, Donna Downey is a goddess :-) She recently had a sale on her workshops so I bought the one I have been wanting to take for a very long time- Working in a series Here is a glimpse of my work for this class.  I LOVED it and will be doing many more works in a series.  I ran out of canvases so I used what I had on hand....... tiles LOL.  And, I only did a series of 8.  My photography wasn't spot on and is a litle blurry but you can see them fairly well.
